Europe has to protect its wilderness areas
The Conference on Wilderness and Large Natural Habitat Areas which took place under the Czech Presidency on 27 and 28 May 2009 adopted the final document "
Poselstvi from Prague" - An Agenda for Europe' s Wild Areas in which the participants agreed to the need to protect the remaing 1% of the European wilderness. The conference initiate the discussion about what has to be done in order to fulfill this goal. This very important event was launched by the former president of the Czech Republic, Mr. Vaclav Havel.
